CHRISTMAS IS COMING…
It seems hard to believe, but the countdown to Christmas is now on. Every year, Sara S. arranges a special Christmas Santa project to purchase and deliver gifts to children in hospitals, hospices, orphanages and refuges. All money raised from the Simple Soup lunch next week will be donated to swell funds for this excellent cause. If you would like to help, either by making a donation or by volunteering time to wrap and deliver gifts, please see Sara.
Do you like baking? If so, we are planning to make lots of mince pies for the Christmas Bazaar on 7th December. We have the mincemeat; we just need people to make pastry and bake the pies. If you have space in your freezer, you can start now! If you are able to help, please see Nicolette.

CHRISTMAS SANTA UPDATE
Many thanks to all of you who stayed behind after the service today and contributed to Sara S’s Christmas Santa project. The aim this year is to raise sufficient funds to buy Christmas gifts for over 1,000 children, who are sorely in need of some extra love and attention. These include children undergoing cancer treatment or in hospice care, children in the Speransky Hospital burns unit, children in orphanages for the disabled, children and young people with severe learning disabilities and children in refuges, whose mothers have fled domestic abuse.
If you would like to donate, please see Sara after the main service on Sunday or e-mail outreachstandrews@gmail.com.
If you cannot help financially, but would like to contribute by wrapping gifts, please join us for an hour or so after each 11 a.m. Sunday service over the upcoming weeks.
