SIMPLE SOUP LUNCHES
Next week (19th January) we will be resuming our monthly Simple Soup lunches after the 11 a.m. service. This is a wonderful opportunity not just for fellowship, but also to raise money for charitable causes. This month, all funds collected will go to the QPN Foundation, which is working to provide a clean and safe water supply for the children at the SS Simon and Jude Nursery and Primary School in Enugu, Nigeria. All donations, however big or small will be gratefully received. So that we can account separately for our charity contributions, we would ask that you do not make card payments for the lunches, so please bring a little extra cash to church next week.

BIBLE REFLECTION
If you would like to spend more time studying the Bible, but aren’t able to commit to joining a group that meets at a specific time, you might be interested in the online Bible Reflection group. Together we follow study plans on the YouVersion app. This gives everyone the opportunity to read the same passages and contribute their thoughts at any time during the week, before moving on to the next section of the plan. Please see Liz if you would like more information.

Heavenly Father,
you have called us in the Body of your Son Jesus Christ
to continue his work of reconciliation
and reveal you to the world:
forgive us the sins which tear us apart;
give us the courage to overcome our fears
and to seek that unity which is your gift and your will;
through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.
Amen.
