ST ANDREW\u2019S UPDATE FOR WEEK COMMENCING 3rd NOVEMBER<\/b>THIS SUNDAY \u2013 ALL SAINTS\u2019 SUNDAY<\/b>11:00 Holy CommunionThe 11 a.m. service will be lived-streamed on our YouTube channel<\/a>, St. Andrews Anglican Church Moscow, and the full order of service can be found here<\/a>. We appreciate that those of you in Russia may experience difficulties logging onto YouTube; we are currently exploring alternative streaming options.There are Sunday School classes for children aged 6-12 and a play area in the Chapter Room for infants and toddlers, if they need to take a break from the service. Everyone is invited to stay for refreshments after the service. VICTORIAN EVENT<\/b>Back by popular demand! If you missed the previous Victorian event, this Sunday there will be another opportunity to learn more about the history of St. Andrew\u2019s by going on a Tower Tour, to enjoy traditional English tea-time treats and to listen to a wonderful recital of organ music. 2 p.m. \u2013 5 p.m. Tickets: Tower tour \u2013 1,000 RR; Tea \u2013 1,000 RR; Double ticket \u2013 1,500 RR. All monies raised will go to the Restoration Fund.HARVEST-ADVENT APPEAL<\/b>Our Harvest-Advent appeal for the Lighthouse Fund (\u0414\u043e\u043c \u0441 \u043c\u0430\u044f\u043a\u043e\u043c)<\/b> will be continuing through to 1st December<\/b>. We are collecting all of the following to help refugees rebuild their lives:\u2022 bed linen, blankets, duvets, pillows; \u2022 towels, curtains; \u2022 kitchen utensils, pans; \u2022 clothes (especially large sizes); \u2022 winter hats, gloves, scarves, socks, underwear, winter jackets, warm shoes; \u2022 repair tools, umbrellas;\u2022 baby formula; \u2022 non-perishable food (dried and tinned goods); \u2022 personal care products (soap, shampoo); \u2022 pet food.Even the smallest of donations will make a real difference for families who have had to leave everything behind in their flight for safety. Please do consider contributing over the upcoming weeks, if you possibly can. If you would prefer to make a monetary donation, please see Rev\u2019d Sharon or Pat.REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY<\/b>On 10th November, we will be holding our traditional Act of Remembrance, to honour servicemen and women for their contribution and sacrifice in both World Wars and later conflicts. Poppies are available for purchase in the narthex. Please make sure you arrive early for the service, as we will be joined by a number of guests.MORNING PRAYER<\/b>is said daily, Monday to Friday at 8:30am in the chapel.
